The first day was never ever be easy for the new comer in University Malaya. I had got mixed feelings when I stepped in the class. I realized that I was taking this course named PBEY 3102 Using Resources in the classroom. I was wondering what and how would it be the course tutor and the course itself. I was busy chatting with my "long lost" coursemates when we were told to enter MK 2, stands for Makmal Komputer 2. I was amazed and amused with the room whereby there were at least 40 computer sets in the room. We were all settled down in a very comfortable way because the room was air-conditioned and the computers were ready for us.
Here came our big boss, Pn.Fohziah with a broad smile on her face, greeting us gently and warmly. Frankly, I was thinking she would be someone who is easy to deal with. She settled us down very quickly by telling us jokes and her own stories. Hence, we would not be feeling restricted and uncomfortable. Before starting her briefing, she wanted us to feel at home, being relax and active to post any questions.

The course was mainly about how to choose and create suitable resources in the classroom. She told us that resources plays a vital role for a teacher because they are like the weapons for the soldiers. Without any resources in our hand, as if we are going to the battlefield with empty handed, and finally get killed during the war. Hence, all of the teachers have to take up this course. About the word Resources, she was just quickly dashing through without going in depth. But I think the most important reminder from her was creating our own new blog by using google account, preparing a 8gb pendrive, and surfing the net to get information about resources.

Hi, boon.. Me too having the same feelings as you. I felt quite lost especially when the first day I entered the Laboratory. It looks fresh and new to me. We are all equipped with computers. I was wondering what is the course all about, wondering why are we needing all these computers as I thought this course is something to do with "cut and paste" - creativity. Haha...
